What types of landscaping services do you offer?

We provide recurring garden & landscape maintenance and single visit clean-ups and pruning.

Installations such as hardscaping, paths, retaining walls, and large-scale planting coming April 2026

Do you work with both residential and commercial clients?

Yes, we serve homeowners, tenants, businesses, and property managers.

Will the same gardeners be at my property each time?

Yes, you will generally have the same team gardeners each visit. We occasionally substitute team gardeners due to illness, vacation, etc. 

Do you do landscape design? 

Our gardeners can offer tips and recommendations. Landscape designs and installation coming Summer 2026.

Do you do pressure washing, water features, or irrigation services?

Not currently.

Do you trim trees or shrubs above 15 ft? 

Our maximum tree and shrub trimming height is 15 ft.

Do you serve my neighborhood?

Worksite & Scheduling

What is the process of booking my garden or landscaping service? 

  1. Schedule a free on-site estimate by clicking here or call us directly at (503) 893-4616. 

  2. During our phone conversation and/or on-site visit, we will note your service priorities ans preferences.

  3. We will email you an estimate, our Terms of Service agreement, and proposed start date. Once we receive your confirmation, your service visit is booked. Sit back, relax, and enjoy not worrying about yard work!

How far in advance should I book services?

Peak season (spring/summer) fills quickly—book at least 2–4 weeks ahead. During off-peak seasons, we can generally schedule your visit within 1-2 weeks.

Do you require a 12-month service contract?
No. You are free to cancel recurring garden maintenance service with 30 days notice. 

How often will you come?
Most of our clients opt to receive garden maintenance visits monthly or biweekly. Some opt for monthly during winter and biweekly during growing season. We can help you decide on visit frequency during a free onsite quote visit. 

Do I need to be home while you’re working?

No. Please provide our team with needed access ahead of time (gate codes, etc.)

Who do I contact if I have questions during the job?

You’ll have a direct point of contact on our team to answer questions and provide updates.

Do I need to pick my pet waste?

Please remove all pet waste before any landscape maintenance visit. Thank you in advance. 

Can I make specific requests for my upcoming maintenance visit?

Yes, we welcome your requests. We strive for client satisfaction with every visit and seek to meet and exceed expectations in addressing your priorities. If you want to make sure we prune the grapes, water the new tree, weed the front yard only this time, etc., please reach out by email 1-2 days before your visit.

How fast can I expect a reply?
We reply between 24-48 hrs. We are closed on weekends and holidays, as well as occasional vacations. 

What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?

We work through light rain (this is Portland, after all), but may reschedule if conditions affect quality or safety. Certain tasks (ie. fruit tree pruning) require dry conditions to avoid risk of fungal disease spread.

We have 5 Eager Beavers gardeners on the team.

How long have you been in business?
Eager Beaver Landscaping was founded in 2024 when two residential landscape gardeners came together to combine our skills and years of experience into a passionate team dedicated to personalized, high-quality garden & landscape care. We have a strong track record of thrilled clients and gorgeous yards. 

What payment methods do you accept?

All services can be paid by credit card through our secure online payment processor.

Are you insured?
Yes. We carry $500,000/$1,000,000 general liability insurance.

Are you licensed or bonded? 

We are aiming to obtain licensure in Spring 2026 for outdoor construction projects such as paths, patios, retaining walls, and large scale plantings and renovations. Currently as a maintenance-only company, we do not perform projects requiring licensure.
